Using my personal photographs in a blog post format, viewers will learn about the natural history and conservation status of these interesting birds. Each blog post will include:
From my earliest adventures as a child, fishing the lakes and streams with my dad and grandfather, I have been enthralled by all that is the Sierra Nevada. Whether it was catching a nice Rainbow Trout, holding a Rubber Boa, smelling the bark of a Sugar Pine or watching the Steller’s Jays around our campsites, I was thrilled by it all. I can quickly recall the many times we would sit around the campfire watching the smoke swirl up and dance between the sunlight and shadows of the pine trees. I think John Muir nailed it when he called the Sierra Nevada the “Range of Light.”
